BEST HIDDEN BRUNCH SPOT NYC = Fell in love @ Ciao for Now

I think I found my favorite brunch spot! Cozy, cute, homey, quaint, and the food is just as amazing as your nanna's home cooking. It looks like it's a bakery/cafe from the outside but actually connected to a diner on the right side of shop. My boo Allan, brother from another mother (Kreamy Kat), and I went for brunch on Saturday and every single place was crowded!

We stumble upon Ciao for Now and I swear it's the best secret spot! I peeked into the windows and saw that everyone looked so cute and happy so I had to go in and try the place out. As soon as I walked in, I could already tell that the crowd was so genuine, there were magazine editors, fashion consultants, and people who were wearing brands from Patagonia to Hood By Air. You will also DIE for their Almond Brioche French Toast. Everyone cool was there for some amazing eats. Guys, we have to keep this our secret...Shhhhh.

My Kreamy Kat. He works at a fancy schmancy high fashion PR company in NYC.

Via Ciao For Now obviously :)
about
welcome to ciao for now!
we are a quality, family-owned cafe and bakery with a long resume in full-service catering. join us for breakfast, lunch, brunch and now dinner.
our menus are made fresh daily from all kinds of adjectives: house-made, home-baked, free-range, grass-fed, hormone-free, nitrate-free, organic and local. we use quadruple-filtered water for all cooking, baking, and brewed beverages - including cold-brewed iced coffee. quality food and drink is serious business to us, and expansion has furthered our credo. what kevin and amy started 10 years ago in east village has colonized the west side.
east side and west side, we love our neighborhoods. we compost all food waste and use an electric ZAP car for deliveries because community consciousness helps everybody.
we are now open for dinner Thursday through Saturday evenings from 5:00-10:00.
Come join us!
we’ll see you soon,
miceli family & friends

It's true. So delicious, it hurt.

The Brooklyn Roasting Company’s beans make for a lively cup, which you can drink out of one of the campy, mismatched mugs; a twelve-ounce cup to go is $2.

VERY FRESH: grapefruit juice ;)

White Peach Bellinis were divine. Cheers my turtle doves.

3 little piggies had a  meal...

Almond Brioche French Toast. Dipped in real maple syrup and smeared in butter, this dish will surely make those taste buds happy. Allan and Kereem went HAM on the french toast. I only got like 3 bites. You could taste the amaretto delight!

So warm, and so welcoming.

I plan on coming back for lunch next time ;) Ugh can't wait!
