Smorgasburg NYC @ Brooklyn Bridge Park!

Brooklyn Cool, before Brooklyn was Cool. Just in time for lunch, I have some food porn for you here. Yesterday, Allan and I were supposed to go apple picking with Leo but were running a bit late, and so we decided to go to Smorgasburg instead at the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

I used to live around the park in Brooklyn Heights, so it was quite nostalgic and heart warming to come back to the neighborhood. The food market used to be at the Tobacco Warehouse but recently moved to Pier 5.
We walked around with warm apple cider and tried different kinds of food from all over the world. From jerked chicken to vegan vegetable pie, they've got something for everyone.

Are yous ready? I have way too many pictures to too show yous ;)

California Dreamin: part I - San Francisco

In July, I went to San Francisco on a business trip for a conference and stayed through the weekend to enjoy the city. Allan came all the way from NYC to keep me company through the weekend. It was my very first business trip, so I was happy to have someone to roam around Northern Cali with.

Freakin' Weekend

This past Friday, my boyfriend Allan and I went on a journey to the Upper West Side for our Friend Jon's housewarming gathering with close friends.

Jon (handsome gent below), recently got into COLUMBIA LAW and moved away from his fabulous pad in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Jon is such a smarty pants, that he got into every single prestigious law school he applied to but, still chose to stay in NYC and be with his friends and family.

Passion for Prada - Part Deux - Pretty in Prada

Here is the follow up post for Passion for Prada - Part I ~

In May, the Prada Store in SoHo (575 Broadway) decked out their hardwood stairs with beautiful sequinned dressed and feathered headbands just in time to promote the new Gatsby Movie. Costumes designed by Catherine Martin and  Miuccia Prada has so much beautiful detailing in each piece, I had to refrain from wanting to put my hands all over the garments~!
