La Soirée @ the Union Square Theatre - Best Party in NYC

Keep the children at home! While incredibly funny, La Soirée is a naughty show that straddles the line between Burlesque and Circus.

Allan surprised me with tickets so we caught the Friday 10 PM showing in Union Square and had a blast. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but I ended ooh-ing, ahhh-ing and laughing the entire show. From juggling to hula hooping, it has a circus like aspect to it, but each act is full of charisma and humor making the show more dynamic than the usual circus-like freak show spectacle. The burlesque aspect shines through via the costumes and more so when two english gentlemen performers strip down to their underwear after their acrobatic set. The show is also interactive, where some acts were fulfilled with the help of audience members even if audience participation meant being drenched with water by the sexy half naked man performing his acrobatic set in a tub.The hardest thing about capturing this experience for you all, is that they wouldn't allow photos. Luckily, La Soirée has their own instagram so I am going to use their social media platforms to share my experience with you! I am not going to describe each pictures and ruin each act, but you all get the gist. Go see the show! Average show runs around $96.95 for a general seat ticket. General seating is first come first serve, so be early for prime seating. Posh table seating give you and your partner a private table seating and although they are behind general seating, the height is elevated so the view is still pretty great and the tickets are around $137.95. It's a great date spot so plan your next with La Soirée

That's my boo just munching on some free popcorn while we wait for the doors to open.

We got some Vino and Twizzlers to go with the show.

We had a pretty great view of the stage.

Can't wait to see some swinging action!
