January Barkbox 2014 Review: Harry Barker, Loving Pets, Think! Dog, Wigzi, Barkworthies

Hi Homies. Happy Freakin' Friday~! Today, I want to share Leo's first Barkbox of the New Year with you. I am normally  impressed with every box we get and this month was no exception.
Not to spoil the review but Leo got Alligator treats in this month's box!
Woof! Let's get started:

Leo usually sits right by my side waiting for me to unleash the goodies on him :)

The overall value of these 5 items in the picture above came out to about $28 which I think is a great value since you can subscribe to a box for as low as $19 with 10% going towards supporting a rescue group.

This Harry Barker Cotton Rope Tug and Toss Toy is my favorite thing from this month's box. Leo's loves to play tug with all his toys and gots pretty happy and wild  once I showed this to him. I have to give it to the little guy. He tugs on the rope with so much strength! Who knew my little baby was sooo strong?

Pocket Bone: Ours is cute and orange! They also come in Blue and glow in the dark.
I cant wait until summer is here so I can take Leo into the pool with his new floating toy! Stuff a treat and throw.

I was excited about everything listed except for the "Etta Says" chew they claimed to have put in there. We actually received a Barkworthies Bully stick, which we already received in a previous box (December Bark Box) so it was a slight disappointment to have an old item. We actually also received the Etta Says Chew in our November Barkbox. Either way, Leo still loves all chews and bully sticks so it all worked out in the end. :)

Alligator Jerky? I wasn't sure how to take this. I thought it was just called Alligator Jerky but made of something like duck or chicken liver or something but no, these unique treats are definitely made out of Alligators.

Retails at around $5.59

Leo think's these gator treats are tasty! Who knew Merica could normalize gator dog treats?
"Alligator meat may be considered a better alternative to your favorite steaks you enjoy. Gator meat is lower in cholesterol and Alligator meat healthier than chicken. The Alligator meat is firm and tasteful. Alligator taste reminds of chicken, frog-legs, etc. and gator dishes can be prepared in a similar way." via Exotic Meats

Loving Pets: Barksters sweet Potato & Beef Krisps - Only 12 calories a treat, these crispy delights make Leo jump for joy!

Leo loves these! Crispy like potato chips! He eats these right up without any hesitation! Looks like we are going to have to keep these in our puppy grocery list.

These Puppy Bowl cards are the cutest! Don't forget to watch the Puppy Bowl on Feb 2nd and vote for your favorite Doggy MVP :) 3 PM EST.

XOXO
