NYC Lobster Joint Re-Opens LES - Goodbye Party for Sweet Erin

There is nothing here that is not delicious!

Last month the Lobster Joint in the LES opened back up for the summer. There was a massive water main break on East Houston a while back that caused a lot of damage to the businesses on the block. Thankfully, they are back in business and we all met up for some amazingggg seafood and to say goodbye to our dear friend Erin. Erin just got a super exciting job at Google! We are so sad to see her move to San Francisco but happy that she gets to start a new and exciting life in the west coast.

Erin,Kendall, Allan and I were the first to arrive. We ordered a bunch of food and lobster shooters to start the pahhhty. Happy hour is from 4-7 so we took advantage of the awesome deals!

Happy Hour
Weekdays
from 4pm - 7pm
Drink!
$4 Draughts
$6 Cocktails
$16 Beer Pitchers
$24 Cocktail Pitchers
Eat!
$1 Oysters
$4 Sliders
(Lobster, Crab Cake
& Fried Oyster)

Mmmmm! These shooters are EVERYTHING homies. If you don't like spicy, it may not be your thing. Some people prefer straight vodka shooters but you know I like me some spicay!

The cocktails were also super delish! I started with the Lobster Claw Bloody Mary but also loved the Dark & Stormy. This bloody mary was to die for! Jam packed with a lobster claw, olives, and pickles inside.

Of course, we ordered like a bajillion Lobster, Crab Cake & Fried Oyster sliders to share. They were the perfect size so you don't feel guilty and boy were they tasty-tasty!

Apparently the sliders weren't enough, because we ordered a million more oysters to slurp. Cant beat $1 a piece. HOLLA FOR A DOLLAAAAAA :)

The joint consists of a huge open space with communal tables and a massive chalkboard menu. They don't have air conditioning, but the breeze from outside and delicious cocktails kept us cool for the evening.
No FRILLS! So if you like fancy fancy, this is will not be your cup of tea. I love gritty times with friends so it was a great environment for us.

I actually met Erin though Blake when they used to work together. So happy he introduced us because Erin is one of the sweetest person I know.

Kendall is so cute isn't she?

Meet my brother Mano. We grew up together and he's my ride or die.
Started from the bottom now we here!!!

I love this place and can't wait to go back. It's also at a perfect location. Right next to Katz and near all the hip bars in the lower east side.

It was a whole mess of us. We had a fabulous time just chatting away.
We had a great group out to celebrate Erin's bright, bright future.

Cheers to old friends and new friends!

Cool casual vibe and great food.
If you like lobster rolls and can't skip town for New England, this is the spot to run to.
They also have a TV for all you sports fans. You don't have to miss the big game while chowing down on your lobster rolls.
