My First Chanel: Fall/Winter 2014 - 2.55 Reissue Flapbag Burgundy Patent Gold Hardware

My Chanel dream has come true. After saving mucho $$$, I am now a proud owner of the classic, Limited Edition 2.55 Reissue Flapbag in Burgundy patent leather with brilliant gold hardware and I am just dying homies. This bag is my precious new baby, and it is my very first Chanel. I am smiling from ear to ear and the smell of new and crisp leather is just so delicious. I'm not gonna lie, I got sick to my stomach after spending so much money but you know what they say #YOLO. Also, the price goes up on these babies every year so I had to invest before the price became unbearable. Work hard and treat yo self ladies!

I dream Chanel Flap Bag - New Year, New Chanel 2014

2014 will be the year I finally become a part of the fabulous Chanel club.

This year, I want to show myself and the world that I have finally grown into a fashionable woman. Not that you can't be a fashionable woman without a Chanel on your arm, but I am proud to have worked hard until now to have saved enough money to be able to purchase my very first Chanel purse. Like many woman, I have changed my look and sense of style over the years, and have always wanted to develop a sophisticated style filled with designers like Chanel, Goyard, Prada, LV, Celine, and so much more. With my small millennial paycheck, I have roamed around NYC hunting for bargains at consignment shops, and used to be able to afford to only shop at places with price tags available at stores like Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe. Even with my current salary, I am not rich, but, I have disciplined myself enough to save a little at a time for the things I want. I want to show you some of the bags I have been eyeballing now that I am in the market for the perfect Chanel and, maybe even persuade you to get one too!

Chanel Espadrilles + Malawach Brunch @ Cafe Orlin

Espadrilles are super cute, simple, comfy, and they go with almost every outfit depending on it's color. Espadrilles were hot and in season for spring/summer of 2013, and all of the cutest bloggers were stomping all over town in their favorite pair.

'So I am a tad bit late but, a working girl like me must save her dollas/shop smart, and so I waited a bit longer than everyone else to get my Chanel baby. Once it arrived, I took precious out to brunch with me & Allan to Café Orlin in the East Village

Every time Allan and I walk by Cafe Orlin, there's always a long line with people waiting up to 30 minutes for a table. I wanted to know what the hype was all about, so Allan and I finally decided to go and try it out over the weekend. We ignored our grumbling stomachs until about 2 pm so we could have a later brunch, hoping we would miss the crowd. It was good thinkin' because we only waited for a bout 5 minutes to be seated inside.
