Hola amigos. You guys won't believe me, but I actually went out this past weekend.
We went to CATA on Friday night for some Spanish Tapas and fabulous G&T's. It's located on Bowery street, LES.
With Erika, Blake, & amigos.
Look at this extensive list of wild Gin & Tonics.
I ordered the Grapefruit.
Slurp slurp slurp.
Not gonna lie, the service was not up to par. Our waitress was difficult to work with but, the food was delicious and there was a sexy vibe to the place overall.
Charcuterie Board
Peppers
Chicken Croquette.
Chickpea Fritters.
Paella to share.
CATA is a sexy joint. I recommend it if you have a date.
After coating our tummies with carbs, we went to Mister H for a Nescac Party and also met up with our college buddies Maggie and Maya.
NESCAC - New York City: bringing together alumni from the top small colleges in New England. Friends, fun and networking.
Connect with alumni from other NESCAC schools at benefits and other events around the city. Dates to be determined.
Amherst, Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, Conn College, Hamilton, Middlebury, Trinity, Tufts, Wesleyan, Williams.
Walk through the magnificent Mondrian Hotel in Soho.
Just like a prayer you know I'll take you there.
Yah I think Blake is belting one out.
Our photographer for the night was awesome. His name is Travis. If you need an photographer for anything, get at him bro. http://www.traviswkeyes.com/
Maggie is the smart one here. Double fisting is absolutely required during open bar hour.
Get your freak on! Wooooooh! hahaha
Hi Maggie! <3
I had a pretty action packed weekend and overall had a fantastic time. We drank, we laughed, we danced! I was also feeling a little crappy over the weekend so my wifey Christina came over for a daytime play-date, and our dear friend Caca (aka Dick Frank) came all the way down from Filet for a night-time play-date on Saturday. Basically I had babysitters all weekend, making sure I wasn't sulking somewhere. I am such a lucky lady.
Ginger spice spent 4 hours commuting back and forth to bring me a home cooked Italian brunch courtesy of fairy godmother Magz, aka Christina's mama cakes. She even prepped the meal when she got here. Full. Service.
That's real dedication right thur.
Christina is currently on vacay in Florida right now. I am very Jelly.
Caca was supposed to get to my house when Ginger spice got there, but he didn't make it to my house until dinnertime. Boiz...Sigh.
After gabbing and gossiping, I fed the starving Dick Frank and we went out to a hipster bar called the Back Room.

Don’t even think about getting access to the hidden back room of gorgeous copper ceilings and Art Nouveau knick-knacks unless you’re friends with the owners. Instead, simply enjoy the main room, a speakeasy of sorts with the faux façade of a toy store. The giant fireplace and mirrored bar are leftovers from former occupant Lansky Lounge, but co-owner Johnny B. has added period-perfect chandeliers, velvet paisley wallpaper, tin ceilings, a candlestick phone, and sundry Victoriana. Booze is served in teacups, a throwback to clandestine drinking during Prohibition. As a blast from the more recent past, this hot spot bypasses super-cool D.J.s for simple CDs by stand-bys like the Cars and newer favorites like the Killers.

We got cocktails in coffee mugs, beers in mugs, and bottle in brown paper bags. Saucers and all. Richard was loving the hipster vibe so hard haha.
